From: By Recommendation Only, 1997. I first met Betsy when she and her husband, Marty, ran Marty’s Parties Catering Company. Marty was the chef while Betsy organized events and took charge of their fabulous buffets. I still remember our first meeting when Marty, the passionate cook, whipped up some wonderful prawns for me to taste. In 1995, the couple decided to slow down a bit.
Betsy began helping friends organize their offices and setting up systems for helping caterers coordinate parties. Then, two brides who wanted to book the catering company asked Betsy to help them coordinate their weddings. She took these requests as an omen to start her own business. Her brochure clearly spells out her services...anything to make the day easier and more enjoyable for the bride and her family. Betsy, “a people person,” enjoys helping brides make their event as memorable and as successful as possible. She chose the name “A Bride’s Best Friend” to offer the kind of help a friend would. Betsy is always accompanied by an assistant, usually her husband Marty, her most trusted companion.

During the course of the reception, every time I saw you a sense of comfort would come over me. When I arrived at the reception, the first thing on my mind was "Wow, this is exactly what I visualized!"
